Always love this place. Calling in order depending on how much we get is only 10-20 minutes, by the time we get there it's ready for pick up. Egg-drop soup is very good, beef & broccoli, kung-pao, rice (steamed and fried), and orange chicken are always good and fresh. You can tell the sauce is a home recipe, orange chicken is a darker color than what most serve (like Panda Express has a very orange colored sauce). Seems family owned, but not 100% sure :)
This is a great hole in the wall place. We always just do takeout. My only complaint is that the phone has to ring a long time before someone answers it.
Great price, good food. I love that the servings are good enough for atleast two people, unlike most Chinese restaurants the servings is for very big families
Really good food and cheap. The wait is low and service is amazing. Try the mandarin shrimp its my favorite o and the orange chicken.

Still the best chinese food I've tried in san diego. I usually get the orange chicken which uses real orange peel and spicy peppers, pungent shrimp and broccoli. I switch the broccoli sauce because I don't like the oyster sauce. I get a garlic sauce instead. They give free white or fried rice with each order. You can get both if your order is large enough.
I've gone to Rising Dragon ever since I was a little kid. I feel like the prices have never changed, the quality of food has never dwindled, and I'm never disappointed with what we order. We usually get the salt and pepper chicken wings and honey walnut shrimp. Always a 10/10!
There salty pepper wings is so damn Good! I hate to say this, but they are better than Royal Mandarin.
Rising always comes through! Our go to for Salt and Pepper wings!. We prefer their salt and pepper wings instead of other places in National City which is full of MSG and salt. Everything has been delicious. Prices are good and everyone is friendly.

I found this place on Yelp while hangrily scrolling past a bunch of places and decided to give it a try due to all the great reviews! I'm glad I did! Not going to lie I was a bit skeptical at first and thought everyone didn't know what they were talking about lol. I called in my order in time for the lunch special. The owner took my order quickly and efficiently and let me know it'd take 10 minutes. Let me tell you! They are so inexpensive and the portion you get for that price is a steal! Not only is it inexpensive and generous portions but it also tastes good! I was surprised because I honestly wasn't expecting too much being that it was so cheap so I figured it would be lacking in flavor. I got 2 lunch specials that were only $8 each; orange chicken and Mongolian beef with steamed and fried rice, both hot and sour soups, and wontons and egg roll. I made sure to try everything lol! I was surprised I was able to get soup because although most lunch specials offer it, they don't offer it for takeout. What a steal! The hot and sour soup could be a bit more vinegary and use some flavor though but still good! Their entrees are also pretty cheap! I got the beef noodles for $8.35 which had a nice and bounce to the noodles. As well as the 8 piece salt and pepper chicken wings appetizer for only $7! That's the cheapest I've ever seen any type of wings deal they're usually easily close to $2 each. Picking up was also quick and easy the owner came out when I walked in and was nice. There were a lot of people in and out for takeout. They take card and don't charge for using card! Definitely has my business!
